When it comes to building something, the stronger the foundation, the greater the structure. If you want to live a life of faith, the life God has for you, you need to ensure that you’re building it on the right foundation. Fresh Start ensures you cover the essentials. You'll learn what you need to know and what you need to do. Knowledge is important. If we don't think right, we'll never be right. Yet it is the application of the information that brings the transformation to our lives.  This is what makes Fresh Start so unique. it'll help you think right and act right. therefore leading to the life change God desires for you.  Please know, support is available, if you want it, when you need it. Welcome to your Fresh Start! This teaching series is designed to give new believers and anyone else who wants to build up the foundation of their faith an encouraging space to talk about who God is and what having a relationship with Jesus means for your life.

Our hope is for you to flourish in your relationship with and understanding of God. We believe that you can break old thought patterns, grow tremendously in faith, and experience extraordinary life-change, both personally and spiritually, through this teaching series as you begin to Pursue God Personally every day.

This has been designed for you to work through on your own. However having someone who can come alongside you and help you find answers to the questions you have is really important. To get you started, here are some practical next steps for you to take now that you have decided to follow Jesus:

Attend Sunday Services regularly. It's important to be plugged in to a church with others. There are many good churches in our area, and although we'd love for you to call LifeSwitch home, and invite you to join us regularly, the most important thing is to pick a place and commit.

Complete the Study. It is easy to start hard and fast and then run out. This really has been designed to be foundational so please take the time to complete it. (as noted above - having a running buddy, someone you can talk to as you go, makes it much more likely that you will complete it.

Get Baptised. This is an important step of obedience that shows others we have personally trusted Jesus for our salvation. If you have not been water baptised, the opportunity to do so is available. Find out more about baptism by going to www.bit.ly/LifeSwitch04

Watch
Each session is based around a short video teaching that is 15-20 minutes long. It introduces the topic and leads on to the following steps that you'll find in each workbook.

Big Idea
This is a summary highlighting the main point or key thoughts of the video message for that session. Each "Big Idea" is followed by a supporting Scripture.

Think
This section contains questions that are designed to encourage your thinking. Use the space provided to write out your thoughts. It always great to be able to look back and see what you've been learning. These can also be used as discussion questions if working through this material with someone or as part of a group.
 
Prayer Focus
Each session you'll find a suggested prayer focus tailored to your current step in the journey.

Next Steps
Next Steps are your opportunity to take what you learn each session and put it into practice. They are practical, attainable, and stretching actions you can take to grow and move forward in your journey following Jesus.
