What you'll do:

· Be a welcoming, consistent and caring presence each week, helping every child feel seen, safe and valued.
· Lead or support teaching simple biblical principles, using age-appropriate stories, songs and hands-on activities that help children discover who Jesus is.
· Engage children with fun, purposeful play, guiding them through crafts, games and routines that support learning.
· Build positive relationships with families, offering a friendly hello and creating a sense of belonging.
· Work as part of a supportive team, helping set up, pack down and create a smooth, joy-filled environment.

When:

Sundays, Weekly
Either 9:00 - 10:30am or 10:30am - 12:00pm during the school term

What you'll do:

· Help set the tone for a welcoming, supportive and fun environment, where every child feels included and excited to be part of the morning.
· Lead a small group in biblical study, guiding kids through discussion, activities and games that reinforce the weekly teaching (all content will be fully prepared for you).
· Be a consistent, safe and trusted adult in a child's week, modelling Christ-centred character and building meaningful relationships.

When:

Sundays, Weekly
Either 9:00 - 10:30am or 10:30am - 12:00pm during the school term

What you'll do:

· Be a consistent, caring presence for pre-teens navigating a big season of life, showing up week after week so they know they belong.
·  Support games and group discussion, helping create an environment that is fun, safe and spiritually meaningful.
·  Walk alongside young people as they begin to own their faith, pointing them toward Jesus through how you live and how you engage with them.

When:

Wednesdays, Weekly
3:00pm - 5:00pm during the school term

What you'll do:

· Help run a fun, energetic and safe programme, where Years 7 and 8 students feel genuinely welcomed and known.
· Build real relationships with pre-teens, investing in them week after week in the space between school and home where life actually happens.
· Show up consistently for young people who need a trusted adult in their corner, modelling what it looks like to follow Jesus.

When:

Wednesdays, Weekly
6:30pm - 9:00pm during the school term

What you'll do:

· Invest in teenagers who are navigating some of the biggest questions of their lives, being a steady, trustworthy presence in a loud and confusing world.
·  Support discussions on faith, identity and purpose, helping young people connect real life to what they believe.
· Be the adult who genuinely shows up, week after week — because consistency is the most powerful thing you can offer a teenager.
· Show up consistently for young people who need a trusted adult in their corner, modelling what it looks like to follow Jesus.

When:

What you'll do:

· Help build a community from the ground up, investing in those at one of the most significant and searching seasons of their lives.
· Foster genuine connection and belonging, creating spaces where young adults feel known, welcomed and rooted in something real.
· Walk alongside people through a defining life stage, offering friendship, presence and the kind of community that shapes who they become.
· Play a part in discipling young adults into maturity helping them own their faith and live it out in the world they're stepping into.
· Be part of something being built, bringing your ideas, energy and heart to help shape what this community becomes.

Other key things to know:

  1. A police check required — we take the safety and wellbeing of our kids and young people seriously.
  2. Give it a go — commit through to the end of Term 3, then take some time to reflect and re-evaluate.
  3. No experience needed — full induction and support will be provided, and you'll learn as you go.
