LifeSwitch's annual festive initiative!
At Christmas we love to do two things to spread joy across our region.
Firstly we love to bless those who are doing a little tough at this time of year. We will be giving supermarket vouchers to good families who need something a little extra. Through our relationships with local principals we distribute the vouchers through various local schools by asking them to identify families who they know could use a little boost. If you're able to contribute financially to this, please make your donation directly into the LifeSwitch Bank Account - LifeSwitch Community Trust, 06-0545-0014111-26 - using your name and 'voucher' as the reference.
Secondly, we love to celebrate, so we have an annual tradition of blessing local "superstars" with something a little extra special this season in the form of some Christmas hampers that we will be giving away leading up to our Christmas events.
If you'd like to contribute an item from our list of suggestions (see below) please stop by the hamper stand in the LifeSwitch Foyer on Sundays 23 & 30 November to drop your item(s) off. Alternatively if you'd like to contribute financially, you can make your donation directly into the LifeSwitch Bank Account - LifeSwitch Community Trust, 06-0545-0014111-26 - using your name and 'hamper' as the reference.
And if you have someone to nominate for a hamper, please complete the form below.

Nominate a deserving person!
Do you know someone who has gone above and beyond this year? Someone in the Hutt Valley who is a bit of a local legend or community hero maybe? We are looking for nominations of community superstars. In particular people who are making a significant difference in the wider community who deserve to be celebrated.
We are looking for people who are doing the often unseen and uncelebrated work that helps others. It could be the volunteer leader at your local sports club who does hour after hour each week making things happen, the coordinator of a voluntary organisation that is meeting needs in the community, you get the idea.
We are not looking for a nomination for that neighbour who made you a cake (as amazing as she/he maybe), or your sister who helps you out by taking the kids to school, that's on you to celebrate and thank them.
Please complete the form below to let us know why they deserve a little extra joy this year.
