Book Club Group
Tuesdays 7-8.30PM | Trentham | Led by Ness Waight
Each semester we will discuss a new book. The books we explore will be generally focused on connection through conversation.
In this group we will explore the book together, discuss our thoughts, and share ideas. The reading will be meaningful and easily manageable - 1 to 2 chapters a week max.
The book for this semester is called “Be Kind To Your Mind”. Combining her lived experience of depression and anxiety, with the mental health solutions she teaches worldwide, this book is for everyone, regardless of where you sit on the wellbeing spectrum. Using stories, science and humour, Julia Grace offers a clearer understanding of how the brain works, introducing practical tools and better mental health language. Julia will probably make you laugh, she'll possibly make you cry, but you will definitely discover more about the vital practice of learning to 'Be Kind to Your Mind.'
Come join us, as we connect and create community through conversation.
