Resilience is being able to bounce back from stress, challenge, tragedy, trauma or adversity. When children are resilient, they are braver, more curious, more adaptable, and more able to extend their reach into the world. The great news is that resilience is something that can be nurtured in all children. We can’t protect children from all the things that may cause them distress throughout their lives. But we can help children become more resilient so that they are more able to cope with life’s uncertainties and problems. … So our support is really important in helping children become more resilient. This seminar will give all parents practical ways to build resilience in their children.
Presented by Kathryn Berkett from Engage Training who presents information about the brain and how children learn. This training will be delivered in easy to understand language with examples that will ensure attendees will leave with a full understanding of how to move forward with the information.
